2023-25

One Tam: Self-guided Forest Walks ↗

One Tam partners have developed a strategy to improve and maintain the natural resilience of forests and woodlands in the face of stressors.

Together with passionate One Tam storytellers, a self-guided forest walk around Lake Lagunitas was created and produced to off­er a glimpse into forest restoration e­fforts. English and Spanish printouts were made available for the Tam Van's community outreach.

Many successful forest-themed community engagement programs after, a second walk was produced for Rock Spring to provide a closer look at the role of fire on the landscape. The newest addition at Roy's Redwoods is a walk through redwoods, water and wonder.

YSL Beauty: Le Cushion Encre De Peau ↗

An iconic on-the-go product, Le Cushion Encre de Peau has been a beauty essential for women since its launch in 2016. For the first time in 2021, Le Cushion Encre de Peau (Limited Edition) is dressed in a real couture fabric. BEAMY created 3 ambassador videos for social media engagements and drove followers to swipe up for online purchases during the pre-launch.

A Little Daily Dose: Discovering Chinese Characters Through Short Stories ↗

A conventional book with an unconventional approach towards learning Mandarin Chinese. Through four bilingual short stories, color-coded Chinese characters are slowly introduced, in English, to the reader. Created a web app in the form of a vocabulary handbook to spark interest in the Chinese language and accompany the reader during the transition between taking the first step and taking it further.

Ctrip x Shin Ambassador Campaign ↗

Ctrip (携程旅行), China's leading travel provider, offers over 250 million members with services such as hotel reservations, flight reservations, travel vacations, business travel management, and travel information. When rock singer Shin was appointed as brand ambassador in 2017, BEAMY created and developed an integrated marketing campaign themed "Spur of the Moment Travel".

Airbnb x Eddie Peng Ambassador Campaign ↗

The colloquial phrase "够 (gòu) 朋友 (péng you)" in Mandarin Chinese is often used to express "Enough (of a) Friend" when a friend has gone beyond and more than enough. With a wordplay of similar sounding word, 朋 (péng) is substituted with Eddie's surname 彭 (péng), as the slogan of the campaign. A promotional video was shot and produced in Shanghai as part of a brand awareness campaign for Airbnb.

Pulp Nation is the brainchild of paper lovers who believe in documenting the finer things in life, on paper. We embarked on a wonderful journey of developing the brand identity, conceptualizing and producing a series of paper products, as well as in-depth storytelling (content planning and social media engagement).

2013

Residences at St. Regis Lijiang Pre-launch Party

During the early days of construction, Lumina-China was tasked to organize an exclusive VVIP party at the clubhouse. After a site visit to Lijiang, the stage was envisioned to incorporate five elements of the scenic Yunnan province.

Led the creative direction from conceptualization to completion with event planning and management; worked with local teams from Beijing and Chengdu to produce video production and work on dance choreography; supervised the fabrication and set up of the stage and eventually ran the night's show.

Adidas 60 Years of Soles & Stripes

Had the opportunity to turn an empty warehouse into a "house party" for the 60th Anniversary of Adidas. From the initial sketches to furniture sourcing; from overseeing the setting up of plywood panels to styling each corner with branded content, the space was totally transformed and packed to full capacity.

2008

A Little Beijing: Your Niche Travel Guide

Back in the day before smartphones were a thing, travelers had to lug their thick and heavy copies of Lonely Planet guidebooks everywhere.

A Little Beijing - in the form of sixty postcards and a map - introduces travelers to a new, light, way to explore a city. Based on a route less traveled, travelers are encouraged to mail their thoughts back to themselves on postcards. Upon their return home, they would find the perfect souvenir in the form of stamped mementos from their travels.

Meydan: A Vision of Dubai's Future

Meydan is the culmination of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum's vision to create not just a venue for horseracing, but an integrated city that is sustainable.

From brand identity to constructing a stadium in less than 60 days, Lumina Communications launched the architectural scale model in the desert of Dubai and brought this vision on a touring exhibition from Dubai to Shanghai.

A is for Andy - 20 years after Warhol

"A is for Andy - 20 years after Warhol" was the first-ever exhibition of such impressive magnitude in Singapore to feature Andy Warhol's most unique and iconic works.

Thrilled to be part of this one-of-a-kind event from coming up with the slogan to getting involved in the creative direction across all touchpoints. It was extremely satisfying to turn an empty theatre space into a Warhol-inspired exhibition for a week of private media/sponsor nights and a weekend of public viewings.
